EFT – Emotional Freedom Technique is a way of using tapping on points of the meridian lines of the body to help release emotional blockages, sometimes it is referred to as acupuncture without the needles. It enables people to ‘deal’ with problems without the emotional expressions that stop us seeing the answer. This tool can give people the empowerment to let go of limiting beliefs from past issues.
People focus on a specific issue that they want to address and start tapping.
When I first started using EFT tapping it enabled me to highlight the frustration and anger that I had been carrying in my body for years. At first the emotion was very strong but I was able to ‘let it go’ and find out ways of changing my perspective.
This form of therapy can work rapidly and people can work independently to work through problems or symptoms, however in some more complex cases working with an experienced EFT Practitioner is advised.
